Hi, I’m Michael, the tutor behind Pocket Maths Tutor.

I’m a qualified maths teacher and tutor with over ten years of experience in the classroom and private tutoring, helping students improve their confidence, understanding, and exam performance in maths. I’ve worked with students across a wide range of abilities, including those who struggle with maths anxiety to students aiming for top GCSE grades.

My teaching style focuses on:

I have tutored approximately 100 students over the last 10 years, with all of them gaining in confidence and ability from ages 7 through to 18, from Key Stage 1 Maths all the way through to A-Level Further Maths.
