How It Works
How It Works
Pocket Maths Tutor provides structured online GCSE maths support designed to help students feel more confident, more organised, and better prepared. The current programme open for enrolment is GCSE Jumpstart. Full PMT membership will follow from September for families wanting ongoing support.
What We Offer
Structured GCSE Learning
A clear, step-by-step approach to GCSE maths support, designed to help students build confidence and strengthen understanding over time.
Live Online Teaching
Live online teaching is included where stated as part of the programme, helping students learn through clear explanation, guided examples, and structured support.
Pocket Support Between Lessons
Students can use Pocket Support to ask questions and get guidance during the school week.
Optional Extra Support
In some cases, optional one-to-one support may be available separately. This is not the main PMT offer and is only used where a student would genuinely benefit from additional targeted help.
What Students Receive
Depending on the programme, students receive live teaching, video lessons, supporting resources, and clear guidance on what to work on each week. The aim is to make maths support feel calm, manageable, and consistent.

GCSE Jumpstart Programme
GCSE Jumpstart is a focused 6-week online programme designed to help students strengthen key maths skills, build confidence, and feel more prepared for the new school year. It is the current PMT programme open for enrolment.
Pocket Support
Help when your child needs it most – not just during lessons.
Pocket Support gives students a safe, structured way to ask for help between sessions. They can share a question or upload a photo of a problem and receive calm, human guidance to help them understand what to do next, not just the answer.
It is designed to reinforce learning, build confidence, and prevent small gaps from becoming bigger issues. Support is provided during week days, with responses within 24 hours, so families know what to expect and students remain supported without creating reliance on instant help.
Pocket Support is included where stated as part of a programme and is designed for short maths questions, clarification, and guidance between sessions so students can keep moving forward without getting stuck for long.
How Pocket Support Works
