Clear GCSE maths support, without the guesswork
Pocket Maths Tutor gives students a structured way to build confidence with GCSE maths through live teaching, clear pathways, video lessons and support between sessions.
Many students need more than occasional revision
GCSE maths often becomes difficult when students have gaps, low confidence or no clear routine. Parents may know their child needs help, but it can be hard to know what to focus on or how to support them at home.
Lessons move on quickly
If a student misses a method or does not fully understand a topic, the next lesson can feel even harder.
Revision can feel random
Students may spend time revising, but not always on the topics or question styles that will help them improve.
Parents want reassurance
Many parents want to know their child has a clear plan, reliable teaching and somewhere to turn when maths feels difficult.
How Pocket Maths Tutor supports students
PMT is designed to give students a weekly rhythm for GCSE maths. The structure is simple: learn clearly, practise purposefully, ask for help when needed and keep building confidence over time.
Live lessons
Students attend weekly live online lessons focused on key GCSE maths skills and exam-style methods.
Clear pathways
Students follow support matched to their confidence and target grade through Secure, Smash or Strive.
Pocket Support
Students can ask for help between sessions, so they are not left stuck until the next lesson.
Video lessons
Students can revisit explanations, catch up on missed lessons and use the Pocket Lessons library to support revision.

Secure the 4

Smash the 5
For students who want to reduce avoidable mistakes, improve exam technique and become more secure with crossover topics.

Not sure whether to start now or reserve for September?
Some families may choose GCSE Jumpstart first, then continue into September membership. Others may simply reserve a September space and start when the full membership begins.

How It Works FAQs
Is PMT the same as one-to-one tuition?
No. PMT is a structured group support system. It gives students regular teaching, support between sessions and access to resources at a more affordable price than weekly one-to-one tuition.
Can students ask questions?
Yes. Pocket Support gives students a way to ask for help between sessions, so they do not have to stay stuck on a topic.
What if my child misses a lesson?
Lessons are recorded so students can catch up, revisit explanations or use them later for revision.
Can I speak to you before reserving a space?
Yes. If you would like to check whether PMT is right for your child, please get in touch and I can arrange a short 15-minute conversation.
